Umbrella’s sister company, Plumbers in Pink, supports many breast cancer charities and sees the importance and the need to create awareness about a disease that unfortunately affects too many women. On the second day of every month, we would like to remind our customers to conduct a monthly breast self-exam. The survival rate is much higher when breast cancer is detected early. Also, though rare, men are also capable of getting breast cancer as well.  Self-exams, mammograms, and consistent visits to your local physicians are key to early detection.
